First, I would like to give a shout out to all my fellow comrades in arms both past and present. There are 2 days that I hold special… Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day. My wife always tries to make these days special for me. During Veteran’s Day I always think about the time I spent in the military and all the great people that I had the privilege with which to serve. It was an honor to serve the greatest nation on God’s green earth!
Ok, so the forecast for today was rain, rain, rain. I was waiting for it, but nothing happened. The weatherman said that it could come unexpectedly. I got tired of just watching the weather so I took off on a 20 mile bike ride. It was extremely enjoyable. Btw, it didn’t rain at all. In fact, it is 8:30pm and I am still waiting for it.
Ok, so I have get hammered by my physical therapist tomorrow. I will let you folks know how it goes.

Boomer, we got your rain out here in Georgia. Four inches in a 24-hour period. We’ve had an eight-year drought come to a crashing end…I think we’ve made up for it in 10 months.
Glad you were able to get in 20 miles on the bike!
Happy Veteran’s Day Boomer!
You are doing a great job at getting the cardio in with the knee injury! What day is the marathin scheduled for?
Steve… They still say the winter storm is on its way, but I see nothing yet.
Jeff… The marathon is on Dec 13th
