Abs/Core Workout
I haven’t formalized this workout yet. So for now, pick 5 to 8 exercises from the list below. Do 25 to 50 reps of each exercise. Over the course of a week, make sure you have done at least one of each exercise. The workout should take around 15 to 20 minutes. Remember, good form is more important than number of reps.
You can also substitute your favorite abs/core exercises. The point is that you strengthen your core. This will help to reduce injuries in your daily life and also when exercising/training.
For those who are more advanced, you can use resistance for the crunches, wood choppers, etc.
Abs/Core Exercises…
- Crunches
- In and outs
- Side crunches
- Scissors
- Legs raises either laying down or hanging (advanced)
- Elbow to knee crunches
